October 2nd 2008 3C Asset Management 100% owned by Sampo Bank
According to a contract signed today, 3C Asset Management, an investment firm specialized in hedge funds and alternative investments, is now wholly owned by Sampo Bank Plc. Sampo Bank’s ownership of 3C Asset Management before the transaction was 51%.
3C Asset Management has been operating for over eight years and the company was a pioneer in Finland in the areas of alternative investments, hedge funds and risk management.

- The integration of 3C Asset Management’s business activities with Danske Capital is going to strengthen the bank’s position as an operator in the market of the alternative investments, the Managing Director of Danske Capital Finland, Antti Mantila notices.
- The integration will improve our possibility to service especially private banking customers and institutions, as our service is going to be integrated with Danske Capital’s comprehensive service offering, says 3C Asset Management’s Managing Director Aku Leijala.

3C Asset Management has been awarded the Strongest in Finland certificate issued by a Finnish credit rating agency Suomen Asiakastieto Oy. The certificate is awarded to the best 10% of Finnish companies, based on either a AAA or AA+ Rating Alfa indicator used by Suomen Asiakastieto. |
